Welcome to Nerd Needs. These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Nerd Needs mobile application, website, community features, lobbies, posts, chat, avatars, quick social games, subscriptions, and related services.
By creating an account or using Nerd Needs, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Eligibility
Nerd Needs is intended only for users who are 18 years of age or older. By using Nerd Needs, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that you are legally able to agree to these Terms.
Community Purpose
Nerd Needs is an 18+ community/social app for adults who connect through shared interests such as gaming, anime, comics, sci-fi, fantasy, tech, creative hobbies, community lobbies, avatars, chat, and quick social games.
Accounts
You are responsible for your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your login credentials secure, and notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, abuse, or intimidate others.
- Post illegal, exploitative, hateful, explicit, or unsafe content.
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
- Use Nerd Needs for scams, fraud, spam, or deceptive activity.
- Attempt to interfere with app security, backend systems, payments, or other users’ accounts.
- Upload content that violates another party’s rights.
User Content
You retain ownership of content you post or share through Nerd Needs. By posting content, you grant us a limited license to host, display, process, and distribute that content as needed to operate and improve the app.
Blocking, Reporting, and Moderation
Users may have access to blocking and reporting tools. We may review reports and take action at our discretion to protect the community and comply with legal requirements.
Location and Community Discovery
Nerd Needs may use approximate location or community activity to help users discover nearby community lobbies and interest spaces. Nerd Needs does not sell personal data. Users should not share sensitive personal information publicly.
Subscriptions and In-App Purchases
Nerd Needs may offer auto-renewable subscriptions and other in-app purchases through Apple App Store or Google Play. Purchases are processed by the applicable app store provider.
Nerd Needs Guild+
- Monthly plan: $19.99/month
- Yearly plan: $179.99/year
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings.
Pricing, features, and availability may vary by platform, country, region, and app version. Subscription benefits may include enhanced community features such as expanded discovery, priority placement, advanced filters, more profile insights, reduced ads or no third-party ads, expanded showcase/posting features, and cosmetic/community perks.
Refunds
Refund requests are handled by the app store provider used for the purchase. For Apple purchases, users can request help through Apple’s purchase support process.
Account Deletion
Users may delete their account through the app where available or by contacting us. Deleting an account may remove or disable access to account information and app features, subject to legal, security, and operational requirements.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, misuse the app, create safety risks, or violate applicable law.
Disclaimer
Nerd Needs is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nerd Needs and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of Nerd Needs after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
